The service

RomanceScamDirectory.com ("the Registry") is a community-report registry and educational publisher. Registry content consists of moderated public submissions describing reporters’ experiences with contact artifacts, plus educational guides. Listings are not legal findings, criminal accusations against identifiable persons, or guarantees, and absence of a listing is not an assurance of safety. You use the Registry’s information at your own judgment.

Your submissions

By submitting a report you affirm it describes your genuine first-person experience, contains no prohibited content (photographs, full legal names, addresses, threats), and you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, edit for policy compliance, excerpt, and retain the submission as part of the Registry. Knowingly false submissions are prohibited and may create legal liability for the submitter.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Registry to harass any person, to build datasets targeting individuals, to scrape at scale, or to republish listings stripped of their context and disclaimers. The Registry may be cited with attribution and a link.

Disclaimers & liability

THE REGISTRY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of community reports. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where prohibited, these apply to the fullest extent permitted.
