Reported Usernames

Community reports indexed by artifact. A listing reflects a moderated reporter experience, not a legal finding — and a clean search never clears anyone. Learn to run your own checks: the field guide.

Nothing found for your artifact? Absence is not safety — every scam number was unreported once. Run the tests a fake identity cannot pass: live spontaneous video, and platform-verified identity. That second one is why TrueOne verifies every member before profiles go live.

Why handles are worth searching

Usernames travel across platforms in ways names and photographs do not. The same operator frequently reuses a handle on a dating app, on Telegram and on Instagram, because a recognisable identity is part of how they build the story. That reuse is what makes a handle searchable.

Reports here record the platform alongside the handle, because the same string can belong to entirely unrelated people on different services.

Stolen photographs and borrowed identities

A great many romance fraud accounts use photographs taken from real people who have no connection to the scheme — often military personnel, doctors working abroad, or engineers on offshore contracts, because those roles explain absence and unreliable communication.

That means the face in the profile is frequently a victim too. A reverse image search on profile photographs is one of the fastest checks available and costs nothing.

Reading a username listing responsibly

A listing describes a reporter’s experience with an account bearing that handle. Accounts are sold, stolen, renamed and impersonated. The handle you are looking at today may not be operated by whoever it was when the report was filed.

Use it as one input among several, alongside behaviour: reluctance to video call, escalating urgency, and any conversation that arrives at money.

Tired of wondering who’s real?

This directory exists because anonymous dating lets scammers operate. TrueOne is a dating platform where every member is ID-verified before any profile goes live — built by our family of sites so this database is one day never needed again.
